Responsibilities
- Design and implement core components for Zeta’s marketing automation platform based on business and product requirements.
- Develop backend application code, server-side APIs, and services for distributed, high-throughput event pipelines.
- Own significant product components through design and implementation.
- Ensure product quality through code reviews and unit tests.
- Fix bugs and implement product enhancements.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers on roadmaps and projects.
Requirements
- At least four years of experience developing scalable and robust software platforms using Java, Ruby, Python, or an equivalent language.
- A BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- Four to eight years of experience with J2EE, Python, or an equivalent object-oriented programming paradigm.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems design, cloud architecture, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Airflow, NoSQL databases such as Aerospike, Thrift, Cl, and AWS.
- Experience working with SQL languages.
- Strong object-oriented programming and software design skills.
- Experience with container-based solutions is a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience in the advertising attribution domain is a plus.
- Ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new tasks.
