Base Salary
$205k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build interfaces where financial numbers are drillable to their sources and users can move from summary to detail without losing context.
- Establish frontend architecture patterns for components, state management, data access, and frontend-backend contracts.
- Refactor early implementations into durable abstractions and evolve a consistent, extensible design system.
- Define conventions, testing and review expectations, and tooling that keep human- and AI-generated frontend code coherent.
- Work with accountants, product designers, and backend engineers to reflect financial reasoning and the underlying ledger model.
- Help shape how the Prism agentic layer presents explainable answers.
- Raise engineering standards and prevent architectural drift across the company.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of frontend engineering experience, including ownership of architecture or shared standards.
- Deep experience with React and TypeScript in complex product environments.
- Strong systems thinking across components, state, and API boundaries.
- A track record of raising engineering standards beyond shipping individual features.
- Comfort working in a dense, data-heavy domain.
- Clear technical judgment and confidence using it.
