Responsibilities
- Improve an intelligent, AI-driven scheduler by enhancing workload placement and balancing.
- Explore methods to increase the utilization of compute, memory, and power resources.
- Build tools that improve platform reliability and enable increasingly self-managing infrastructure.
- Develop solutions involving AI-agent-assisted automation for large-scale computing platforms.
- Clearly state internship availability, including start and end dates, in the resume.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Able to commit to a 12-week internship during Summer 2027.
- Experience coding in Go, C++, Python, Java, or C#.
- Intent to return to the degree program after the internship is preferred.
- Strong fundamentals in systems, distributed computing, or software engineering are preferred.
- Experience from internships, work, research, competitions, or projects is relevant.
- Curiosity about large-scale or AI/ML infrastructure is preferred.
- Exposure to Linux, containers, or Kubernetes is a plus but not required.
