Base Salary
$107k - $161k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead medium-scale feature application design and development efforts and support larger initiatives.
- Serve as a development lead and key decision maker in application design discussions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot coding, application performance, design, and development issues.
- Research root causes and resolve software defects.
- Define and apply coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and software quality standards.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, including test plan execution and management of software quality needs.
- Analyze system dependencies, runtime properties, maintenance characteristics, performance requirements, and upstream and downstream integrations.
- Partner with technology and user-experience vendors on implementation plans and roadmaps.
- Communicate progress, manage escalations, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve conflicting views across teams.
- Review metrics and improve development, delivery, architecture, build, and production operations processes.
- Share technical knowledge through engineering forums, brown bags, and other team activities.
- Drive compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and risk-control requirements.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in a product development or product management environment.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven, results-oriented approach.
- Experience delivering with an agile methodology.
- Experience influencing large-scale culture change.
- Experience leading infrastructure programs.
- Experience working with third-party service providers.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work with considerable autonomy and provide subject-matter expertise in application programming, information modeling, data structures, and algorithms.
