Base Salary
$78k - $156k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform software integration testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop integration test plans and scenarios with other Software Integration Test Engineers.
- Execute testing on target instruments in a laboratory setting.
- Perform exploratory, system-level, and end-to-end integration testing using customer day-to-day scenarios.
- Investigate and report unexpected events, issues, and software bugs, and verify fixes.
- Complete software integration activities for user stories within the development process.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
- Travel up to 5% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience leading complex system and risk analysis.
- Ability to use data to make decisions and influence stakeholders.
- Technical proficiency, creativity, independent thought, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with systems and/or assay development principles and concepts.
- Experience understanding and complying with applicable regulations.
- Ability to apply systems-thinking principles to accelerate performance.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Preferred experience with software integration testing of complex electromechanical systems.
- Regression and functional testing experience is preferred.
- Medical industry and FDA-regulated environment experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with complex diagnostic medical equipment or Abbott IVD systems is preferred.
- Moderate knowledge of Agile methodologies is preferred.
- Scripting knowledge using Python and/or Bash is preferred.
