Responsibilities
- Architect and implement large language model strategies, neural network architectures, and AI/ML solutions for enterprise use cases.
- Develop scalable data pipelines and computational systems for model training and production deployment.
- Customize and apply deep learning, generative AI, and LLM models based on business, data, and infrastructure requirements.
- Deploy, monitor, alert on, audit, and maintain machine learning models and AI software in cloud environments.
- Design efficient data storage, retrieval, and optimization mechanisms for models and knowledge.
- Lead architectural decisions, coordinate cross-functional teams, and align model development with organizational objectives.
- Act as a subject matter expert, manage team activities, provide solutions across teams, and mentor technical staff.
- Conduct research and development involving AI algorithms, high-performance computing, simulations, and distributed systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience is required, including experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 15 years of full-time education is required.
- At least 5 years of experience as a machine learning engineer or scientist deploying models in production at scale.
- At least 5 years of experience applying computer science foundations, computer systems architecture, systems engineering, and programming.
- At least 3 years of experience with distributed computing systems and architecture, including areas such as big data, high-performance computing, scientific computing, grid computing, cloud computing, or distributed networks.
- At least 2 years of experience building and deploying AI/ML software to a cloud environment.
- Proficiency in Python and Python-based AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Experience with language model APIs and optimizing their use for specific applications.
- Experience with Python, C++, Java, R, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of scalable data architectures, cloud data warehouses, data storage, retrieval, and optimization for large-scale LLM training and deployment.
- Preferred master's or PhD in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong client-facing, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills in a consulting environment.
