Base Salary

$145k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own Tin Can’s Shopify storefront for acquisition, including launches and seasonal campaigns.
  • Build and operate the referral program, including invitations, eligibility, reward fulfillment, identity, and attribution.
  • Own integrations connecting orders, customers, activations, and rewards across platforms.
  • Turn campaign integrations into tested, observable, monitored services with rollback capabilities.
  • Build self-serve landing-page and campaign tooling for growth marketers.
  • Build websites and sign-up flows for brand campaigns in collaboration with the creative team.
  • Instrument launches and experiments so performance data is trustworthy.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience building and running customer-facing web applications with ownership of shipped systems.
  • Strong TypeScript experience across the stack and production API experience, including AWS Lambda or Cloudflare Workers.
  • Experience building third-party integrations and handling idempotency, late or duplicate events, identity resolution, and reconciliation.
  • Prioritization of testability, observability, and reliability.
  • Experience building tools for non-engineers.
  • Sound judgment regarding Shopify, owned services, and integration credential access.
  • Fluency using AI tools across prototyping, development, and analysis.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work against fixed campaign deadlines and implement brand and design direction.
  • Clear written communication and a collaborative, low-ego working style.
  • Preferred experience includes referral, affiliate, or loyalty platform API integrations; Shopify theme, checkout, or app development; feature-flag or lifecycle-marketing tooling; strong visual craft; or direct-to-consumer growth through seasonal peaks.
