Responsibilities
- Design complex infrastructure independently using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Build and maintain reliable, scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines across multiple AWS accounts.
- Establish and monitor SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to improve reliability and performance.
- Manage incident response, conduct blameless post-mortems, and implement measures to reduce MTTR.
- Troubleshoot medium- to high-complexity infrastructure issues using technical judgment and AI-powered tools.
- Implement AIOps practices and identify opportunities to enhance reliability solutions with AI.
- Use GitHub Actions or similar tools for workflow automation and CI/CD.
- Collaborate with development, operations, product, data engineering, and business teams on reliability standards.
- Develop runbooks, documentation, and knowledge bases for operational excellence.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide reusable reliability solutions and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Extensive experience with AWS, including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.
- In-depth knowledge of RDS and database engines such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes for container orchestration, management, and resilience patterns.
- Proven experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and leading incident response.
- Ability to understand development-team integration and translate business continuity needs into technical reliability requirements.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and contribute to collaborative operational practices.
