Responsibilities

  • Define and support AI strategies for telecom network management, automation, assurance, and performance improvement.
  • Lead or support AI proofs of concept by defining problems, data requirements, users, success measures, and technical approaches.
  • Translate successful AI experiments into scalable product, platform, or operational capabilities.
  • Align AI solutions with OSS, orchestration, assurance, cloud-native, and broader systems architectures.
  • Design or support AI-enabled control loops, decision-making, confidence scoring, explainability, guardrails, and rollback mechanisms.
  • Develop roadmaps for intelligent, intent-driven, and increasingly autonomous network operations.
  • Promote reusable AI patterns, services, data abstractions, and design practices across teams.
  • Communicate AI opportunities, risks, and implementation choices to technical, product, and senior business stakeholders.
  • Establish governance, observability, auditability, and operational-readiness practices for AI solutions.

Requirements

  • At least five years of relevant professional experience in AI, systems analysis, software, telecommunications, architecture, product development, or digital transformation.
  • Proven experience transitioning a non-AI business area, product, department, or operational process into an AI-enabled capability.
  • Evidence of delivered or piloted AI solutions producing measurable business, customer, or operational value.
  • Experience addressing AI adoption, integration, governance, and production-readiness challenges beyond experimentation.
  • Practical understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience with one or more of LLMs, agentic AI, NCP, knowledge graphs, retrieval-augmented generation, explainable and governed AI, or AI evaluation and monitoring.
  • Experience with systems analysis, requirements definition, process modelling, or solution design.
  • Understanding of distributed, cloud-native, and microservices-based architectures, APIs, data flows, system integration, and operational dependencies.
  • Knowledge of telecom network management, OSS, orchestration, or assurance is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of RAN, Transport, Core, or Cloud network-management domains and familiarity with TM Forum, 3GPP, ETSI, Open APIs, or multi-vendor environments is beneficial.
  • A degree in computer science, engineering, telecommunications, data science, or a related discipline is advantageous; equivalent practical experience and a strong portfolio of delivered AI initiatives will be considered.
  • Ability to influence decisions without direct line authority and explain AI concepts to non-specialist stakeholders.
