Base Salary

$55k - $113k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design and development of server-side services, APIs, and data integrations.
  • Contribute to analysis, development, testing, delivery, and support of enterprise technology solutions.
  • Build and consume RESTful and SOAP web services and contribute to microservices-based applications.
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
  • Use messaging and event-streaming platforms such as Kafka or JMS.
  • Learn and apply code quality, security, testing, and automation standards.
  • Support cloud development, production triage, and enterprise application delivery.
  • Contribute to assigned workstreams under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders in Agile environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in enterprise application development.
  • Exposure to Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and object-oriented programming fundamentals.
  • Foundational knowledge of server-side services, APIs, integrations, microservices, and web services.
  • Familiarity with JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, and API design.
  • Exposure to SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
  • Foundational knowledge of relational and NoSQL database design, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
  • Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka or JMS.
  • Exposure to Git, CI/CD, unit testing, and automated testing concepts.
  • Foundational knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Experience with or knowledge of JPA, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, Jenkins, JUnit, and Mockito is preferred.
  • Ability to learn rapidly changing technologies and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

Benefits

  • Base salary for Dallas, Raleigh, San Antonio, and other applicable US offices is listed as $55,400 to $113,000.
  • Medical and dental coverage, pension, and 401(k) plans are provided.
  • Paid time off includes flexible vacation, EY Paid Holidays, winter and summer breaks, personal and family care leave, and other leaves of absence.
  • The role is based in Dallas, San Antonio, or Raleigh and may require up to 30% travel.
