Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design, develop, modify, and maintain software solutions.
- Perform coding, troubleshoot defects, improve system performance, and support software installation or modification.
- Automate software validation by designing and executing test cases, scenarios, and usage cases.
- Conduct root cause analysis, investigate problem areas, and recommend improvements to system performance and availability.
- Prepare code documentation, specifications, reports, flowcharts, diagrams, project status updates, and implementation documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, functional teams, systems analysts, engineering staff, and customers.
- Capture customer requirements and clarifications, provide status updates, collect feedback, and respond to customer requests.
- Support continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, quality assurance, on-time delivery, and MIS reporting.
- Participate in continuing education and training, including learning programming languages and completing assigned certifications.
Requirements
- Ability to understand requirements, study system flows and data usage, and convert client needs into feasible software designs.
- Ability to develop software, evaluate operational feasibility, fix errors, adapt software to hardware or interface changes, and improve performance.
- Ability to design and execute software validation and testing scenarios and ensure code quality.
- Ability to document solutions clearly and prepare accurate technical, project, and status reports.
- Ability to perform customer-focused communication through email, calls, fault tracking, and requirement clarification.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education, learn programming languages, and complete relevant certifications.
