Base Salary
$200k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate reliable, secure, and efficient infrastructure at scale.
- Design and maintain cloud architecture and foundational distributed systems.
- Build deployment systems, observability, incident response processes, and internal developer tooling.
- Scale platform infrastructure to support the mortgage market and improve engineering velocity and platform reliability.
- Take ownership of infrastructure commitments and collaborate with the early engineering team.
Requirements
- Experience designing and operating reliable distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and developer platforms at scale.
- Experience with a strongly typed programming language such as C# or Go.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or a similar relational database, including indexing and performance tuning.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
- Experience with a major cloud provider such as AWS or GCP and Terraform.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Linux, Ansible, Kafka, Redis, OpenSearch, or performance engineering.
