Base Salary
$96k - $134k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs.
- Identify and define system enhancements using application development procedures, script tools, and code analysis.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
- Install and support customer-facing systems.
- Design application specifications using programming languages.
- Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues and conduct testing and debugging.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
- Identify problems, evaluate information, and implement solutions with limited direct supervision.
- Assess and escalate risks and control issues in accordance with applicable laws, policies, and regulations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant Python experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in an applications development role.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
