Base Salary
$156k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes, workflows, and pain points with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI opportunities.
- Design and rapidly prototype AI-powered solutions, including proofs of concept and minimum viable products.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and act as a liaison between business users and engineering teams.
- Define KPIs and measure the effectiveness and return on investment of AI initiatives.
- Create documentation and provide training and support to drive adoption of AI-driven processes.
- Stay current with machine learning, natural language processing, generative AI, and agentic solution practices.
- Mentor and develop future AI practitioners and support the scalability of Citi’s AI capabilities.
Requirements
- Require 3–5+ years of hands-on technical experience in software engineering, data science, or machine learning engineering.
- Require deep hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, supervised and unsupervised machine learning, natural language processing, and data modeling.
- Demonstrate business acumen, strong problem-solving ability, and the ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Preferred qualifications include forward-deployed, consulting, or client-facing technical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, SageMaker, Vertex AI, or Azure ML.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with data engineering, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, large datasets, and financial-services domains.
- Require a bachelor’s or university degree or equivalent experience.
