Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain AI-enabled software products supporting operational mission outcomes.
  • Develop capabilities using LLMs, RAG architectures, agentic workflows, and emerging AI technologies.
  • Work with users and stakeholders to understand challenges and translate requirements into product features.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps, software architecture decisions, and engineering standards.
  • Implement testing, continuous integration pipelines, observability, and supportability practices.
  • Support technical demonstrations, stakeholder engagement, innovation initiatives, and recruitment efforts.

Requirements

  • Experience designing, developing, or supporting software products or applications.
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices including testing, version control, and continuous integration.
  • Experience or strong interest in AI technologies, machine learning, LLMs, RAG solutions, or intelligent automation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaborative multidisciplinary teams.
  • British citizenship and the ability to gain and maintain UK Government SC clearance.
  • Relevant defence, national security, government, advanced technology, AI-enabled product, data-driven application, cloud-native, software architecture, DevOps, mentoring, or technical leadership experience is desirable.
  • A relevant degree is desirable, although equivalent experience is equally valued.
