Base Salary
$172k - $207k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical baseline, roadmaps, reference architectures, guardrails, and architecture decisions.
- Chair design and change control activities.
- Lead AI/ML solution patterns covering MLOps, model lifecycle, evaluation, risk management, and enterprise integration.
- Author and review DoDAF-aligned technical artifacts, performance and reliability targets, and compliance controls.
- Mentor senior engineers and drive proof-of-concepts and technical assessments.
- Coordinate with the Release Train Engineer and Program Manager on increment goals.
- Support legacy code modernization, cloud migration, API and AI/ML integrations, independent verification and validation, and deployments.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph is required.
- At least 10 years of technical leadership experience as a Chief Engineer, Chief Architect, or equivalent.
- Deep expertise in software architecture and enterprise integration.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms, data pipelines, cloud environments, containerization, and security patterns.
- An advanced degree in computer science, electrical engineering, data, or a related area is preferred.
- Must be able to work onsite five days per week for the duration of the role.
