Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend features that enhance customer checkout and payment experiences.
- Improve and maintain existing services to keep them clean, efficient, and scalable.
- Learn and apply backend and web technologies, software architecture principles, and design patterns.
- Develop understanding of performance, resilience, security, software quality processes, and the full development lifecycle.
- Work collaboratively in an Agile environment with experienced developers and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Use technologies including .NET, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Cassandra, and Kafka.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related STEM field.
- Knowledge of C# and object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and data structures.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and unit testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Git or TFS source control.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD methodologies, non-relational databases or search engines, and messaging queue systems such as Kafka.
- Interest in code quality, testing strategies, and modern software development practices.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
