Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications independently or collaboratively with minimal guidance.
- Write clean, efficient, modular, and testable code and participate in unit and integration testing.
- Gather and clarify requirements, including edge cases, constraints, failure modes, and ambiguous specifications.
- Develop and consume APIs, including AI APIs, to integrate AI capabilities into software.
- Evaluate AI-generated code for security, performance, correctness, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, technical specification reviews, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Work within documented change controls and compliance-sensitive environments with attention to auditability and traceability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with .NET/C# and React.
- Experience with Python, AWS, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep knowledge of software architecture, system design, API contracts, interface design, versioned contracts, and backward compatibility.
- Experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor and understanding prompt engineering fundamentals, AI limitations, and hallucination risks.
- Familiarity with observability and logging best practices.
- Experience in compliance-sensitive or regulated environments and with small, cross-functional feature teams.
- Business-level ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
