Responsibilities
- Develop, code, debug, test, and troubleshoot scalable cloud applications and distributed systems.
- Lead small-to-medium features from technical design through completion when appropriate.
- Influence technical decisions, optimize system designs, and deliver high-quality, secure, and privacy-focused code.
- Advocate for product features that address customer needs and track metrics for product adoption and success.
- Stay current on software development lifecycle and agile engineering practices and coach others as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 0 to 4 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 0 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, Golang, or C/C++.
- Ability to think critically about application scalability and cloud environments and to architect and design distributed systems.
- Ability to use AI coding assistants such as Claude or GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and automate testing.
- Preferred qualifications include complex technical problem-solving ability, collaboration and communication skills, and self-motivation.
