Enveritas is the independent nonprofit working to lift smallholder farmers out of poverty and protect the environment for the next generation. Founded in 2016, we do field certification at origin, based on social, environmental and economic standards, grounded in UN conventions and ILO treaties. Certification is free for farmers and paid for by roasters. Millions of farms are incorporated in our system, and we work with many of the world’s leading roasters. Build backend systems that help analyze farm data and support deforestation detection for a mission-driven nonprofit serving coffee farmers worldwide. This remote, global role combines Python/PostgreSQL development, geospatial data workflows, investigative problem-solving, and Terraform-based AWS operations.
