We are launching institutional-grade RWA yield vaults, fully composable and integrated into Solana DeFi.\n\nWe are seeking a Senior QA SDET to take a technical leadership role in shaping the quality of R3’s product suite. As part of an agile, cross-functional engineering team, you’ll design and implement robust automated testing solutions across APIs, UI, and backend components. You'll contribute to our automation frameworks, mentor junior team members, and advocate for testability and quality throughout the development lifecycle.\n\nThe ideal candidate will bring solid experience in test engineering, a deep understanding of automation best practices, and a proactive mindset when collaborating across teams. Experience working with distributed systems in a cloud-native environment is key whilst financial services experience is a plus.\n\n# Lists\n\n## Responsibilities\n\n

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test cases and frameworks for functional and non-functional testing

Champion quality practices within the team by advising on testability during design and implementation phases

Drive testing strategies across services, microservices, and UIs for large-scale distributed systems

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers in Agile ceremonies to ensure test coverage aligns with business needs

Contribute to the test planning and own the execution for assigned features or product areas, ensuring timely and high-quality releases

Log, prioritize, and manage defects using tracking tools like JIRA

Analyse test results, generate quality metrics, and clearly communicate risks and issues

Mentor junior QA engineers and help drive automation best practices across teams

\n\n## Required Skills & Experience\n\n

Strong coding skills in Java, Kotlin, or similar languages, with demonstrated experience building maintainable test automation code

4-6 years of hands-on experience in test automation and manual QA roles, ideally in Agile environments

Proficient in using test automation frameworks and tools such as:

UI Testing: Selenium, Cypress, Appium

API Testing: REST Assured, Postman, SoapUI

BDD Tools: Cucumber, Serenity

Database Testing

Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

Experience testing in distributed systems and microservice architectures

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
