Responsibilities
- Resolve high-impact problems and projects through analysis of complex business, system, and industry processes.
- Design and develop applications aligned with the overall architecture blueprint.
- Establish and apply standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Analyze system flows and how architecture and infrastructure support business goals.
- Define issues and develop innovative solutions using in-depth interpretive analysis.
- Serve as an adviser or coach to mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
- Assess and manage risk while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with traders and global technology teams to deliver post-trade business solutions.
Requirements
- 13+ years of relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis, including full-stack Java development.
- Advanced experience analyzing and programming software applications.
- Knowledge of databases and messaging platforms.
- Strong technical experience with Java, Kafka, SQL, and Git.
- Experience performing QA and applying TDD and BDD practices.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Subject matter expertise in at least one area of applications development.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly, solve problems, and think strategically in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work with global teams across geographies and time zones and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Prime Services is a plus.
