Base Salary
$98k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop object-oriented embedded software in C/C++ in a Linux environment.
- Develop, debug, and test embedded real-time software.
- Work in RTOS environments including VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, and Yocto Linux.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
- Develop systems for advanced missile defense spacecraft and interceptors.
- Troubleshoot problems and collaborate as an active member of the engineering team.
Requirements
- Level 3 requires a bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional experience, a master's degree with 3 years, or a PhD with 1 year.
- Level 4 requires a bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience, a master's degree with 6 years, or a PhD with 4 years.
- An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of the required degree.
- An active U.S. Government Secret security clearance that is current and within scope is required at application.
- Experience with object-oriented C/C++ software development in Linux is required.
- Experience with embedded real-time software development, debugging, testing, and RTOS environments is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills are required.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline, Top Secret clearance, and directly related Guidance Navigation and Control experience.
