Base Salary
$170k - $231k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own a significant domain within the clearing house, such as customer onboarding workflows or data validation pipelines.
- Drive the architecture and implementation of backend systems in Go on GCP.
- Lead the design of data pipelines for processing unstructured vulnerability reports.
- Establish engineering best practices, including code review standards and incident response.
- Collaborate with the principal engineer and manager on technical planning and architecture.
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience with a track record of owning large systems in production.
- Strong Go engineering skills and experience with GCP and Terraform.
- Experience building systems that process and validate data from unstructured sources.
- Proven ability to take a business problem from prototype to a reliable production service.
- Experience designing systems with customer entitlement levels and access controls.
- Comfortable with observability tooling to ensure system health in production.
