Responsibilities
- Contribute to software development projects within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Design, develop, test and integrate software solutions.
- Apply Agile and DevSecOps approaches throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in technical reviews and collaborative team activities.
- Develop software capabilities supporting mission-critical UK defence programmes.
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through work experience or other training.
- Experience writing software in one or more object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, C# or a similar language.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to deliver requirements within agreed timescales and contribute to projects through completion.
- Sole UK citizenship and ability to gain and maintain UK Government Security Check clearance.
