Responsibilities
- Develop, test, maintain, and enhance custom software components and applications.
- Build scalable data-processing pipelines using PySpark.
- Optimize PySpark jobs for performance and resource utilization.
- Perform data transformation, cleansing, and aggregation within PySpark workflows.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex data workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
- Document technical specifications and contribute solutions to work-related problems.
- Participate in team discussions and provide guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience is required.
- At least 3 years of experience with PySpark is required.
- Proficiency in PySpark and experience developing scalable PySpark data-processing pipelines.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing concepts and big data frameworks.
- Ability to optimize PySpark jobs for performance and resource utilization.
- Familiarity with data transformation, cleansing, and aggregation techniques in PySpark.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex data workflows.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
