Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and optimize custom software components across systems and applications.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and collaborate with and manage the team to deliver project outcomes.
- Make team decisions and contribute to key decisions across multiple teams.
- Identify and implement software development best practices to improve productivity and product quality.
- Troubleshoot complex software systems and provide solutions to immediate and cross-team problems.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in scalable and maintainable software architecture and software development lifecycle practices.
- Experience with agile methodologies and cloud-based data analytics and integration techniques.
- Preferred experience with Data Governance, Collibra Data Governance, and Alation Data Catalog.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex software systems.
