Responsibilities
- Apply software delivery lifecycle principles across design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation.
- Analyze business objectives and translate requirements into technical implementation components.
- Design and build software programs and application features that meet business objectives.
- Develop and deploy high-quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage.
- Lead Level 3 or higher support and technical troubleshooting activities.
- Estimate development effort for new features.
- Mentor team members and provide technical assistance.
- Apply and promote industry best practices and contribute to strategic engineering goals for the team and platform.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on programming experience in Ab Initio.
- Experience developing and deploying high-quality software solutions without supervision.
- Experience with Ab Initio products, including batch and continuous flows; this background is highly regarded.
- Solid understanding of Linux environments, shell scripting, and file systems.
- Experience with data aggregation, standardization, linking, quality-check mechanisms, and reporting.
- Experience with RDBMS technologies, Oracle, SQL, or other data integration and ETL tools.
- Experience with source control systems including GitHub and CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of the banking industry.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
