Responsibilities
- Build high-performance, highly scalable, complex distributed systems end to end.
- Develop data products and features using the Webex Data Analytics Platform.
- Contribute to a high-quality, performant codebase and participate in design reviews, code reviews, proof-of-concepts, and show-and-tell sessions.
- Design development strategies and plans and write code reflecting product requirements and functionality.
- Collaborate with development, testing, and cross-technology teams on technology, algorithms, and product solutions.
Requirements
- At least 8–12 years of experience developing and maintaining enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong experience with Java or Go.
- Experience using AI tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Codex, or Windsurf in design, development, and testing.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and service-oriented architectures.
- Experience building large asynchronous task systems and scalable distributed systems with understanding of microservices architecture.
- Preferred experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Docker, RESTful web services, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with 12-Factor app development principles and responsive web design patterns.
