Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and integrate custom software components across systems and applications.
- Design and implement data pipelines and workflows for large-scale data processing.
- Optimize data storage, computation, performance, and system availability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and multiple teams to translate business needs into scalable software solutions.
- Act as a subject-matter expert and contribute to team and cross-team technical decisions.
- Lead planning and execution of software development activities.
- Mentor junior team members and share technical best practices.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align development with business and technical objectives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in data engineering.
- Experience designing and implementing data pipelines and workflows for large-scale data processing.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and distributed computing frameworks.
- Experience working with various data formats and databases.
- Experience tuning and troubleshooting data systems.
- Knowledge of Python, Java, or Scala.
