Base Salary
$180k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop automated CI/CD build and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and Bitbucket.
- Deploy, configure, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade Kafka and Elastic clusters and environments.
- Configure applications to integrate network data into an Elastic stack hosted in AWS.
- Apply DoD security standards, including Security Technical Implementation Guides, to applications and environments.
- Develop dashboards and observability solutions for application health, performance, availability, security posture, infrastructure utilization, and cloud spend.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, automation, metrics, logs, and traces to improve incident detection, root cause analysis, and system reliability.
- Optimize cloud and infrastructure costs through rightsizing, resource utilization analysis, idle resource identification, and storage and compute optimization.
- Manage certificate provisioning, renewal, rotation, expiration monitoring, and automation.
- Integrate security controls, compliance monitoring, automation, and operational standards into CI/CD pipelines and production environments.
- Develop automated tests using Ansible, Selenium, JMeter, JUnit, and other applicable tools.
- Troubleshoot installation, infrastructure, and system issues and proactively mitigate technical risks.
Requirements
- Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
- Ability to pass additional customer suitability screenings before starting.
- Current Security+ certification or an equivalent or higher certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline with 8–12 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 6–10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience developing software in an Agile environment and learning new technologies on a rapidly growing project.
- Experience with distributed version control software such as Git and Bitbucket.
- Experience developing software on a Linux platform.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with virtual teams, customers, and program leadership.
- Preferred: full software lifecycle experience covering design, development, testing, deployment, and production deployment.
- Preferred: Python, Java, SQL, JSON/REST web services, JSON parsing and validation, JavaScript, AWS, Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker experience.
- TDI employment is restricted to U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.
