Base Salary
$186k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and coordinate work across teams and locations.
- Develop high-volume transactional systems using Java and design highly available distributed systems.
- Build scalable cross-platform integration solutions across heterogeneous platforms using private and public cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with business users, Development, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, architects, senior management, and end users.
- Receive and analyze requirements and propose suitable solutions within the team's methodology.
- Coordinate the work of a small team of software developers.
- Own small to medium projects from inception through completion.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across different locations and time zones.
- Work successfully within Agile and traditional software development environments.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 3 years of software application development experience, or bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 5 years of such experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with Core Java/J2EE and Linux/bash scripting.
- At least 3 years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, GitHub, Jenkins, or Maven, and with release management.
- At least 2 years of experience provisioning computing capacity with infrastructure teams.
- At least 2 years of experience with enterprise messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka, AWS SNS, or IBM MQ in high-volume environments.
- At least 2 years of experience with scalable cross-platform integrations, TCP/IP applications, HTTP load-balanced applications, and relational database management such as Oracle or MySQL.
- At least 1 year of experience providing technical leadership to a software development team.
- At least 1 year of experience architecting and managing enterprise-grade AWS cloud infrastructure across IaaS and SaaS delivery models.
- Proven knowledge of financial services and/or order management, requirements analysis, software development lifecycles, and architectural schematics.
- Strong analytical, communication, organization, interpersonal, and planning skills.
