Responsibilities

  • Contribute to an agile team developing a UE Simulator for 5G product verification.
  • Configure and test simulators on underlying hardware to ensure correct and reliable behavior.
  • Support Ericsson internal users of the simulator product.
  • Participate in analysis, system design, pre-development, and incremental implementation.
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines when contributing to platform engineering activities.

Requirements

  • Software engineering skills and the ability to write high-quality Python code.
  • C/C++ and Java experience is desirable.
  • Familiarity with LTE or 5G standards and protocols.
  • Knowledge of RF propagation, modulation schemes, and signal processing.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems and software interaction with hardware components, ideally with hands-on hardware configuration and testing experience.
  • Knowledge of multithreaded and multicore programming and parallel processing.
  • Competence in Linux.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s-level education in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Science.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Git and GitLab knowledge, Jenkins or another CI/CD orchestrator experience, and familiarity with event-driven CI/CD architectures are valued.
