Responsibilities
- Own the health and reliability of deployed Cyber systems while minimizing downtime.
- Automate and improve software deployment processes into air-gapped, TS/SCI environments.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD and automated test infrastructure for complex hardware and software systems.
- Develop metrics dashboards, TUIs, scripts, and other tools for deployment automation and software debugging.
- Drive engineering requirements based on onsite customer observations.
- Perform root-cause analysis and diagnose issues across the software stack, Lattice OS stack, and external vendor services.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to identify and deliver technical solutions.
- Instrument systems, analyze failures, and lead post-mortem events spanning software, firmware, and hardware.
Requirements
- Currently possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.
- Be based in the DC metro area and support working onsite at customer facilities 3–5 days per week.
- Have 4+ years of experience in a systems administration, Site Reliability, DevOps, or software engineering role.
- Have deep practical experience with Linux and Kubernetes or a similar container orchestrator.
- Have working knowledge of network fundamentals and the ability to debug connectivity in locked-down environments.
- Have experience delivering and maintaining systems on air-gapped and security-hardened networks.
- Be highly proficient in Python or Bash for automation and debugging and able to read and debug service code in a compiled language such as Go.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with engineering teams and external customers.
- Preferred qualifications include networking issue resolution, automation for hardware-in-the-loop or software-in-the-loop test environments, navigating complex multidisciplinary systems and codebases, and driving consensus among stakeholders.
