Responsibilities
- Execute functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and platform-upgrade testing across ServiceNow development.
- Write and maintain test cases and test scripts from user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Build, maintain, and expand automated test coverage using ServiceNow ATF.
- Log, track, retest, and clearly document defects through resolution.
- Support UAT through test-environment setup, test-data preparation, and stakeholder guidance.
- Provide test execution status, pass/fail rates, and defect metrics to the QA Manager.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to quality improvements across the shared QA function.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a QA Engineer or software testing role within a ServiceNow or enterprise platform delivery environment.
- Practical experience using ServiceNow ATF to build and execute automated test scripts.
- Strong ability to write test cases and scripts from user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with functional, regression, and integration testing in an agile delivery environment.
- Ability to write reproducible defect reports and manage defects through resolution.
- Ability to work across multiple product domains and adapt testing approaches.
- Experience with ServiceNow platform-upgrade regression testing is desirable.
- ISTQB Foundation or an equivalent testing qualification is desirable.
- Experience with broader test automation tools or scripting is desirable.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification or equivalent product knowledge is desirable.
- Experience supporting UAT with business stakeholders is desirable.
