Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for embedded software products.
- Implement automated functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end test suites.
- Develop test tools and infrastructure to improve automation coverage, test efficiency, and product quality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and release readiness.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, systems, and QA engineers to identify automation opportunities and improve test strategies.
- Analyze automated test results, investigate failures, and support root cause analysis.
- Maintain test environments, hardware setups, and automation infrastructure for reliable test execution.
- Support hardware-in-the-loop, system-level, and device communication testing.
- Apply continuous improvement, AI-assisted testing approaches, process optimization, and technical innovation.
- Develop a strong understanding of product functionality and customer workflows to validate business-critical features.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of professional experience in software test automation, quality engineering, software development, or related technical roles.
- Proven experience developing automated test frameworks and automated test suites.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as PyTest, GoogleTest, Robot Framework, or similar technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms and automated build pipelines.
- Familiarity with Linux development environments and command-line tools.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies, defect tracking, and quality assurance processes.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional engineering teams.
- Preferred experience with Embedded Linux and Yocto-based systems.
- Preferred familiarity with C, C++, Bash, scripting languages, and device communication protocols including USB, Bluetooth, Ethernet, Serial, or TCP/IP.
- Exposure to AI-assisted software development and testing tools is preferred.
