Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product development teams to identify and address security issues.
- Champion secure programming techniques and automation to prevent vulnerabilities.
- Stay updated on advancements in product security and software development practices.
- Utilize bug hunting technologies to find and assess security vulnerabilities.
- Monitor security trends and threat intelligence relevant to NETGEAR products.
Requirements
- 4 to 9 years of experience in application security, IoT security, and vulnerability discovery.
- Proven experience in implementing and scaling security tooling for developers.
- Familiarity with techniques like fuzzing, reverse engineering, and writing SAST rules.
- Excellent knowledge of common security weaknesses and mitigation strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- BE or master’s degree in computer science, security, or related fields.
