Base Salary
$136k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Execute security assessments and code reviews for HR and Legal applications using established processes and tooling.
- Contribute to threat models and identify application risks with guidance from senior engineers.
- Author and refine automated detection rules that identify risks at code commit and provide remediation guidance.
- Support development teams in adopting secure-by-default infrastructure and paved paths.
- Investigate security findings, validate their impact, and collaborate with builders on remediation.
- Contribute to security automation and tooling that reduces manual effort.
- Document security work and communicate risks to teammates and leadership in writing and verbally.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience with web protocols, common security attacks, and remediation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing and exploit development or equivalent experience.
- Experience solving basic problems by writing code or scripts with some assistance.
