Base Salary

$143k - $286k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead platform engineering initiatives delivering scalable cloud-native infrastructure and reusable tooling.
  • Drive software development lifecycle activities, including design, coding, testing, deployment, maintenance, and incident response.
  • Architect and implement AI/ML-enhanced applications supporting high availability, fault tolerance, and real-time data processing.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship while promoting engineering best practices and architectural standardization.
  • Translate stakeholder business needs into technical requirements and measurable success metrics.
  • Own technical delivery, resolve issues proactively, and foster continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus 5 years of software engineering experience, or 7 years of equivalent software engineering experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in a relevant computer-related field plus 3 years of software engineering experience.
  • Extensive platform engineering leadership experience and expertise in cloud-native architecture and distributed systems are required.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, and C++ for AI/ML integration and intelligent software systems is expected.
  • Candidates should demonstrate experience with software development lifecycle management, CI/CD deployment, incident response, model-driven design, and modern development tools.
  • Preferred candidates understand WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
  • Strong mentoring, architectural decision-making, collaboration, and communication skills are required.
