Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and implement an AV evaluation process spanning initial conception through release of the end-to-end ML stack.
- Build hands-on infrastructure solutions and ELT tooling to assess AV performance using simulation and on-road data.
- Identify performance metrics, improve evaluation workflows, and define implementation paths for unavailable metrics.
- Develop automated triage strategies for deficiencies in the end-to-end stack.
- Analyze AV performance and communicate insights, summaries, and recommendations to developers, executives, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain scalable processes for identifying, monitoring, and improving evaluation KPIs.
- Connect continuous improvement processes to the product safety case and compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
- Strong software development skills, including use of AI tools.
- Experience implementing ELT pipelines for product quality analysis.
- Experience with GitHub and Jira or equivalent tools.
- End-to-end ownership, strong problem-solving ability, and analytical and systems engineering experience with complex systems and ambiguous AI functions.
- Experience performing root-cause analysis in complex software and hardware systems.
- Familiarity with analytical methods for behavioral analysis and experience communicating data-driven decisions to leadership.
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred experience with autonomous vehicles, production-grade robotics, AV/ADAS systems, statistical methods for product evaluation and risk assessment, and data-driven metrics.

- U.S. compensation range of $153,200 to $234,100, with actual base salary varying by position-related factors.
