Base Salary
$90k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, discuss, and review new product features with the development team.
- Design, write, manually execute, and document test cases across product development stages.
- Identify, report, document, reproduce, and debug product and customer issues with developers.
- Develop test tools and automated scripts for functional testing, debugging, and development efficiency.
- Monitor and report product development risks.
- Contribute to work assistance systems, process guidance, task assignments, and work methods.
- Create documentation and training materials for team knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with international team members on testing, research, product support, and releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably including automation development and testing.
- Strong understanding of test processes, test case design, failure scenario documentation, and problem isolation.
- Knowledge of Firewall, IPSec, SSL, IdP, BGP, SDWAN, and TCP/IP networking.
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix systems.
- At least 3 years of development experience using Python.
- Experience developing functional test scripts with Robot Framework.
- Understanding of RESTful API, Selenium, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, and other test tools and concepts.
- Strong communication, teamwork, learning ability, adaptability, and curiosity.
- US citizenship is required.
