Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain full-stack features spanning frontend, backend, and microservices.
- Own production issues through root-cause resolution across applications, queues, databases, and infrastructure.
- Trace reported financial figures to their sources and explain them clearly to customers.
- Communicate across distributed teams through async updates, tickets, documentation, runbooks, and technical discussions.
- Contribute to AI agents and guardrails for trustworthy financial data, including streaming, numeric faithfulness, permissions, and human confirmation before data changes.
- Help shape engineering standards, architecture, and collaboration practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of commercial backend or full-stack development experience.
- Strong Kotlin, modern Java, and production Spring ecosystem experience.
- Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, APIs, messaging, integrations, and cloud-hosted applications.
- Strong engineering fundamentals in clean code, design patterns, testing, and working across monoliths and microservices.
- Experience with complex enterprise or financial product domains.
- A finance or accounting foundation sufficient to read and reason about financial statements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex technical and financial topics.
- Familiarity with FP&A or financial-consolidation products is preferred.
- Experience building or shipping LLM or agent features is preferred.
