Responsibilities
- Lead backend design and development using Java and Spring Boot.
- Provide technical guidance, mentor engineers, and lead development teams.
- Drive technical decisions, ensure code quality, and conduct code reviews.
- Support successful project delivery and perform performance tuning.
- Work with distributed systems, reactive programming, databases, and cloud-native environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience.
- Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Vert.x, reactive programming, and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of system design, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, or other NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to GCP, AWS, or Azure and cloud-native development.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, code reviews, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of Agile, TDD/BDD, and SDLC.
- Proven experience leading development teams, mentoring engineers, and driving technical decisions.
- AMEX experience is preferred; OneAMEX knowledge is an added advantage.
