Base Salary
$130k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve agentic AI search systems with orchestration layers and domain-specific sub-agents.
- Translate loosely defined product needs into technical solutions, architecture designs, implementation plans, and delivery scopes.
- Write and own production code for core search-platform components.
- Partner with product and domain teams across benefits, pharmacy, and provider experiences to integrate search capabilities and ensure result correctness and relevance.
- Make architectural and technical tradeoff decisions involving agent composition, latency, accuracy, scalability, maintainability, and domain ownership.
- Identify and resolve technical and organizational challenges in an autonomous, evolving product environment.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in large-scale software development and distributed systems.
- 3+ years of experience designing and building production-grade AI-driven systems, including agentic or orchestration-based architectures.
- 3+ years of hands-on production programming experience with Python and/or backend technologies.
- Preferred: experience in healthcare, insurance, or pharmacy domains and member-facing digital platforms.
- Preferred: experience with AI-powered search, semantic search, retrieval, ranking, LLM-based orchestration, and multi-agent systems.
- Preferred: experience with complex business logic, domain ownership boundaries, authentication, and secure system design in regulated environments.
- Preferred: strong communication skills and the ability to create technical designs, solution briefs, and architecture documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience is also accepted.
