[VDI] Full-Stack Engineer (Kotlin, TypeScript, React) — 3-Month Engagement

Responsibilities
- Update and upgrade outdated libraries, dependencies, and frameworks.
- Add and expand unit test coverage across the application.
- Test the system after upgrades to validate stability and functionality.
- Identify and resolve issues introduced by dependency or framework changes.
- Collaborate with the client’s engineering team on priorities and progress.
Requirements
- 8+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Strong backend experience with Kotlin and Gradle.
- Strong frontend experience with TypeScript and React.
- Experience with library and dependency upgrades and framework version migrations.
- Solid understanding of unit testing principles and experience writing and maintaining tests.
- At least B2-level English proficiency, with 90%+ written and oral English.
- Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly on an existing codebase.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Experience with EOL or legacy modernization projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and small agile teams is preferred.
