Responsibilities
- Own product features end-to-end from design discussions through production.
- Define and deliver solutions rather than only executing assigned tickets.
- Influence architecture and collaborate closely with product and design.
- Help maintain system reliability as the platform scales.
- Share knowledge, review code, and help teammates grow.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building and shipping production systems with full-stack responsibility.
- Demonstrated ownership of problems from definition through delivery.
- Strong capabilities across backend logic, database design, and frontend user experience.
- Fluency with relational databases and search fundamentals.
- Daily hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
- Experience at a fast-moving startup or SaaS company is preferred.
- Familiarity with distributed systems concepts including queues, event-driven architecture, and horizontal scaling is preferred.
- Exposure to Elixir/Phoenix, React, and PostgreSQL, or the ability to learn them quickly, is preferred.
- Interest in helping teammates grow is preferred.
