Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and lead end-to-end Azure architectures, including architecture diagrams in Visio and supporting technical documentation.
- Lead technical presentations, architectural discussions, and solution deep dives with government customers and stakeholders.
- Plan and execute Azure Site Recovery migrations, including dependency mapping, failover testing, and cutover operations.
- Design and manage Azure networking components including VNets, subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN, ExpressRoute, load balancers, and routing topologies.
- Ensure secure, reliable, and resilient connectivity between Azure and on-premises environments.
- Design and implement Microsoft Entra architecture covering identity governance, conditional access, role management, and cross-tenant integrations.
- Build and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
- Lead infrastructure security hardening and ensure compliance with DISA STIGs, hardening guidelines, and organizational controls.
- Mentor system administrators on account administration, VM configuration, monitoring, patch management, and operational support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
- 10+ years of related experience, including 5+ years of experience in Azure IL5/IL6 environments.
- 5+ years of preferred experience in database and data management.
- Active Secret or higher clearance and the ability to maintain it as a condition of employment.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is required to satisfy DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II requirements.
- Experience designing and developing network solutions in Azure IL5 and IL6 environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Entra Monitor, Azure network design, and Entra architecture.
- Strong knowledge of VNets, NSGs, routing, Azure Firewall, load balancing, and ExpressRoute/VPN.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and secure pipeline development in controlled cloud environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Ansible or PowerShell scripting.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure migration solutions, cloud database systems, MS Visio, Agile/Scrum, and federal or state government environments.
