Base Salary
$186k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
- Analyze and improve network security, stability, speed, and capacity.
- Automate new cloud service deployments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services to meet SLAs and maintain adequate capacity.
- Analyze cloud-service logs and events and recommend improvements for smooth operation.
- Work within large-scale cloud infrastructure and quickly identify and resolve infrastructure issues.
Requirements
- A master’s degree or foreign equivalent in a listed computing, engineering, IT, information systems, or telecommunications/network engineering field plus two years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in one of those fields plus five years of relevant experience.
- Two years of experience with Python, Bash, Ansible, Nagios, AWS CloudWatch, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Git, SVN, VMware vSphere, EC2, Splunk, and related infrastructure and operations practices.
