Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, test, and field software and hardware for aircraft survivability and countermeasures systems.
- Support currently fielded aircraft survivability equipment, including the ALE-47 air countermeasures dispensing system and associated hardware, software, and test fixtures.
- Program test equipment and develop hardware emulation systems, test plans, scripts, software, and hardware.
- Apply software development practices to configure software, analyze and resolve bugs and defects, and create technical manuals and codebase documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify development pathways aligned with mission and program needs.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience performing research, engineering, or technical support for U.S. military systems such as aircraft, avionics, or countermeasures dispensing systems.
- Experience with software and firmware programming languages such as C, C++, 8051 Assembly, Python, or Ada.
- Knowledge of hardware emulation systems, test equipment, and test development.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science.
- Preferred: experience with software, hardware, or test development on the ALE-47 countermeasure dispensing system; experience supporting Foreign Military Sales ALE-47 operators; or an existing Secret clearance.
