Responsibilities
- Engineer a fully automated Kubernetes platform based on Cluster API for internal tenants.
- Write software to automatically deploy clusters, manage cluster software components, and integrate with surrounding infrastructure.
- Configure software components running on Kubernetes clusters to provide platform features.
- Contribute improvements and bug fixes to upstream open-source projects.
- Support the migration of existing Kubernetes clusters to the new management platform.
- Provide third-level support to operations teams running Kubernetes platforms across Europe.
Requirements
- Fluent English speaking and listening skills at B2 level.
- Solid software engineering experience across languages and platforms.
- At least basic knowledge of Go, ideally with several years of experience using it.
- Experience with microservice and cloud architecture, HTTP APIs, and small decoupled programs.
- Strong Kubernetes background, preferably including Kubernetes operations experience.
- Knowledge of controller-runtime or Kubebuilder is optional.
- Experience with Cluster API or an alternative is optional.
- Contributions to open-source projects are optional.
